1989 vs. Miami
I thought I would post a little reminder of where we were as a program 30 years ago. The few things I recall about this game is the Miami players sitting at midfield and taunting the Badgers. I lived next door to a player on the team and he told me later that they were more or less terrified of the Hurricanes. Secondly, in the words of the students, "We scored first." (even though much of the drive consisted of Miami personal fouls.) Finally, I am pretty sure it rained pretty much every game while I was in college. The telecast itself features the great line from Keith Jackson, "If you are a Badger partisan, you must hope the slingshot has been loaded with the most accurate of stones." Enjoy.
