Packers (Not) Drafting Badgers
Written in 2017.
Quite a few Packers/Badger fans are of the belief that the Packers often pass on Badgers due to some sort of reverse bias. While the Packers HAVE taken some Badgers (Tauscher, Abbrederis, Ferrario, Davey), you do hear it this time of year.
So, let's take a look at Badgers who were available to Packers and taken within 15 picks of Packer pick over the last 20 years. That time frame does not hit one of the oft-cited picks (T-Buck over Troy Vincent), but 20 years seems a nice cutoff. As you will see, a lot of non-issues in the late rounds, with neither player panning out, but there are still some interesting ones in those earlier rounds.
